'T is The House Of The Rising Sun...
Named for it's beautiful and mysterious owner, Madame Soliel Levant, the house could have been one of about five possible houses. Madame Rising Sun was rumored to have been killed with the help of her cousin.

It was fashionable in Bohemian Paris of the early 1900s, in Montmartre, to drink "The Green Faerie"...

It was so strong that no one would think of drinking it straight. It was almost pure alcohol. So, people would drink it by placing a slotted spoon with a sugar cube on it over a glass of absinthe. and then pouring cold water through the spoon. In. my grandma's effects I found an absinthe spoon.
